2020 was a year of significant disruption to doing business internationally. The ability to meet face-to-face with potential or existing customers from other parts of the world, ceased overnight.
It is predicted that international travel will not return to anything like normal for some time.
With economic contraction and domestic recessions in many countries, the competitive landscape is intensifying.
The challenge lies in businesses around the world (1) chasing the same market growth opportunities and (2) using the same tools and approach to develop and secure international sales and growth.
In a virtual world, it has never been more important to stand out from the crowd in an online meeting.
In this Workshop participants will:
- Explore the factors for holding successful international virtual meetings, including specific requirements in priority markets.
- Discover gaps in their business performance in international business development.
- Learn how to fill the gaps and achieve strategic objectives in key overseas markets, leveraging online meetings.
Each participant will have both a one-on-one pre and post workshop mentoring call with the presenter, Sophie Krantz.
The Workshop includes video tutorials demonstrating how to engage in video conference calls with business leaders from the priority markets (China, Hong Kong SAR, USA, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia), an electronic copy of all materials used including slides and videos, and an electronic printable workbook.
How to register:
Email your name, contact number, job title and business name to trade@stategrowth.tas.gov.au by 10 March 2021 to register your interest. After registering, you will receive a call from one of the key contacts below, to ensure suitability for the Workshop.
